When taking photographs, I strive to evoke an emotion and illicit a response. When taking pictures of people, I look for that one recognizable moment when a personality can be personified through a single fleeting facial expression. With a photograph you can't record a sound, just an image and it is in that non verbal exchange between subject and photographer that seals a moment and makes 1/250th of a second last forever.
