School Board Agenda: Improve Sports Fields, ADA Accessible Route, More
The Lower Moreland School Board will hold its public meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 19 at 7:00 p.m. at Pine Road.
There are a number of items on the agenda for Wednesday night's Lower Moreland School Board meeting. One entry to be voted on is finding a Civil Engineering firm that will provide a land survey to help improve the athletic fields at the High School and Murray Avenue. The School Board will also recommend the approval to pay Breslin Ridyard Fadero Architects $9,375 to design an accessible ADA route from the parking area behind the Murray Avenue Middle School to the junior varsity baseball field. This access route will also serve the football stadium. The football field needs to be redone with proper drainage, and NEEDS LARGER STANDS. Why knock down the stands a few years back, just to only put back half of them...it looks really awkward. Stands from the 20 yard line to the 50 yard line? Please fix that issue more ›
