The best pizza in LM went to Ricardo's in this week's Readers' Choice poll.
We asked who had the best pizza in Lower Moreland, and Ricardo's Mediterranean Restaurant ran away with just under half of the total votes in the poll. This BYOB restaurant in Fetters Mill Square offers up 19 styles of brick over pizzas with the following toppings: pepperoni, onions, black olives, sausage, broccoli, extra cheese, ham, tomato green or red peppers, anchovies, mushrooms, bacon, pineapple, spinach, roasted peppers, steak, avocado, chicken, sun dried tomatoes, prosciutto, chouriço. Ricardo's also won our Readers' Choice poll for the best Italian Restaurant. With the weather getting nicer it's a perfect place to enjoy a nice meal outside on the back deck as well. Franconi's edged out Illiano's by one vote for second place.

On a rainy day, local residents picked Willow Grove Park to spend the day.
This week we asked what you thought was the best destination for a rainy day. When the kids are out of school and it's not a great time for any outdoor activities, you need someplace to go to occupy your time. The choices were things like bowling, mini golf, or local shopping, but the Willow Grove Mall ended up being the winner with just over 40-percent of the vote. It hosts over 130 specialty shops including Abercrombie, Coach, Banana Republic, Build-A-Bear-Workshop and Williams-Sonoma. It also has major department stores include Bloomingdale’s, Sears and Macy’s. Dining is also a prevalent feature of the mall, which has food courts and notable restaurants, such as The Cheesecake Factory and T.G.I. Fridays. Brunswick Zone, the Bryn Athyn …

This week we asked where the best spot for a Mother's Day brunch is.
The big day is quickly approaching and we asked our Patch readers where they thought the best place to celebrate Mother's Day was. Residents had the chance to vote all week in the poll, and in the end Piero's Italian Restaurant was the winning choice. The BYOB place nestled on Reading Way features an Italian menu with home-made bread, pasta, sauces, soups and desserts. If you plan on bringing the children along, there's a kids' menu as well. Maggio's in Southampton came in second place while Kenny's, Ben & Irv's and Tiffany Diner tied for third place. Thanks for your participation.
