Youth Aid Panel Seeking Volunteers for District Attorney's Office
This unique program helps first time juvenile offenders take responsibility for their actions and move forward in a more positive direction with the assistance of a group of local community volunteers.
Volunteers are needed for a well established, highly successful diversionary program of the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office. This unique program helps first time juvenile offenders take responsibility for their actions and move forward in a more positive direction with the assistance of a group of local community volunteers. There is at least one functioning Panel within every Montgomery County School District area. Adult residents of Montgomery County who have lived in the county for a minimum of one year may serve as panelists. Applicants may not be a school official, employed in law enforcement, or seeking or presently holding public office.
