Lower Moreland School Board to Elect President

Members of the school board will submit their votes tonight for president.

The Lower Moreland School Board will hold its reorganization meeting tomorrow night to elect its president. The current school board president Dr. Murray Cohen will be temporarily replaced for the vote. That temporary president, who will be elected into that position when the meeting starts, will then call for nominations for next year's President of the School Board. "During the Reorganization Meeting, a temporary Board President will be put into place as a procedural formality before a vote is taken on the Board leadership positions," Dr. Mary Kay Feely said in an email.
