Drunken Man Falls Off Train at Philmont Station, Police Say

A man faces charges of public drunkenness after registering a .249% BAC at the Philmont Train Station.

A man in his 20's fell off the train while attempting to exit on to the platform at the Philmont Train Station. A witness told police the man was leaning against a railing next to the railroad tracks acting confused. According to the police, the man had poor balance and had slurred speech when they arrived. A broken 40-ounce bottle of beer was leaking on the ground next to the man. The man was given a breathe test that revealed a .249 percent BAC. He faces charges of public drunkenness. The Lower Moreland Police Department and Bryn Athyn Ambulance responded to the scene. The preceding information was supplied by the Lower Moreland Police Department.

Woman Found Drunk on Sidewalk; Harassment Reported in Lower Moreland

The following information was supplied by the Lower Moreland Police Department.

Dec. 31 – Public Drunkenness Police responded to the area of Huntingdon Pike and Welsh Road for the report of an intoxicated woman walking along Huntingdon Pike. An officer located the female, Sherri Mancini, 53 , of Philadelphia, who was sitting on the curb near the railroad overpass bridge. According to the report, her legs were partially in the roadway. Mancini claimed she only had one alcoholic beverage and was attempting to walk home. She also stated she was riding in a car, but exited the vehicle a while ago because the operator was intoxicated. Mancini registered a reading of 0.18% BAC. She received a warning for public drunkenness. Dec. 30 – Harassment A Huntingdon Valley resident called LMPD regarding a delayed assault report. The…

Police Log: Kids Shoot Air Soft Pellets at Car, Public Drunkenness

The following was reported by the Lower Moreland Police Department.

Oct. 12 – Public Drunkenness Police responded to CVS Pharmacy at Welsh Road for a suspicious male who was walking in the street trying to solicit a ride home. A witness told police that the male, who was identified as Nicholas Massari, 34, of Philadelphia, got into a verbal altercation with a driver. When police arrived on scene Massari was carrying an open pint container of Jocquin’s vokda. He told police he “only drank a pint” of the vodka and he was not drunk. Massari told police that the argument between him and the motorist was over him allegedly falling onto the driver’s car while it was stopped. Massari submitted a PBT which showed a .147% BAC.
