Motorcyclist Avoids Cops, Then Stopped with Heroin

The following information was obtained from the Lower Moreland Police Department.

On Dec. 4, an officer was traveling on Pine Road when he saw a motorcyclist traveling without a helmet and proper eyewear. The cop immediately made a U-turn and began to follow the driver. Once the U-turn was made, the motorcyclist began to speed up and avoid the officer that was following him. The driver was weaving in between cars while the police officer had to travel up to 90 mph in order to catch up to the motorcycle, which was traveling down County Line Road towards Bustleton Avenue. When the motorcyclist attempted to make a right turn onto Bustleton Ave., he struck the cement island and lost control of the vehicle.
