April 1 – DUI Boris Tikhonov, 39, of Warminster, has a pending DUI charge after registering a .105% BAC. Tikhonov's left tires crossed the double yellow line for officers to initiate the stop. According to the report his breath smelled of alcohol, his eyes were glassy and red; he also had slurred speech. Tikhonov admitted to drinking two alcoholic beverages before driving. March 31 – DUI Frances Pelham, 72, of Jenkintown, has a pending DUI charge after registering a .101% BAC. Police pulled her over after she ran a red light at the intersection of Philmont & Pine. The following incidents were reported by the Lower Moreland Police Department.
March 27 – Theft David Wedell, 53, of Huntingdon Valley, reported that an unknown actor(s) entered three of his cars sometime overnight. Wedell returned home at midnight and discovered that someone had rifled through the glove compartments of the unlocked cars. The only item determined to be missing was an iPod Nano ($120). March 23 – Traffic Enforcement – Underage Driving LMPD received a call for suspicious activity involving a gold SUV that was operating on a flat tire. It was reported that the occupants in the car jumped out of the vehicle and ran into the woods in the area of Levy Lane towards County Line Road. The following incidents were reported by the Lower Moreland Police Department.
January 26 – DUI James Patrick, Jr., 51, of Huntingdon Valley, was arrested for DUI after officers observed his car had an expired registration. Patrick pulled into his driveway and LMPD issued a stop. Patrick began to stagger out of his car when police questioned him. Patrick said he had three or four beers before driving. He also admitted to being charged with a DUI two years ago. Miller failed field sobriety tests and registered a .20% BAC. January 26 – DUI Yuri Miller, 60, was arrested for DUI after police responded to an accident where his car drifted from the right side of the street to the left side and skipped over the curb. December 12 – Narcotics Possession, morphine, heroin Police responded to a 3-car accident and it was discovered that Francis Goodfriend, 62, of Philadelphia, had caused rear-end, chain reaction type collision. While speaking with Goodfriend, officers noticed he was under the influence of some controlled substance since his eyes were pin-point pupils, his voice was mumbled and had difficulty staying awake at times. After failing field sobriety tests, Goodfriend was patted down. LMPD found prescription pills, four small zip-lock bags containing blue wax paper and a tan powdery substance (believed to be heroin). The following incidents were reported by the Lower Moreland Police Department
October 26 – Criminal Mischief Officers discovered graffiti on the back wall of the building at 2655 Philmont Ave. The door, on the north side facing east, had the word “DAZE” written it on painted in all white capital letters. There was an asterisk in the center of the “D,” similar to the property on Tracey Rd. at 2381 Philmont Ave. October 24 – Theft Police responded to a report of theft at 1142 Mettler Rd. The owner, Eugina Bubb, 59, told police she discovered the jewelry stored in a dresser drawer had been missing. Additionally, she found numerous jewelry boxes that had been open, emptied and thrown back in the drawer. Her husband’s rings had also been taken from his dresser. Bubb plans to file an official report with a detailed list …

The following incidents were reported by the Lower Moreland Police Department.
October 18 – Narcotis Possession – Morphine/Heroin Gerald Lee, 30, was stopped by police after a report of a reckless driver. The stop was made near the Discovery House, and Lee said he was the passenger and that the driver was inside the Discovery House. Lee was observed to be under the influence. Witnesses near the Discovery House said they saw Lee throw two syringes behind a generator located behind 2755 Philmont Ave. Police found the syringes with suspected heroin residue on them. Police also found one Suboxone pill on Lee. When taken back to the station, more Suboxone pills were found in Lee’s right sock. The following incidents were reported by the Lower Moreland Police Department
October 5 – Theft Janet Bloch, 56, and Meyer Weintraub, 64, contacted LMPD after they discovered medication and jewelry had been taken from their condo. Items taken include: yellow gold ring with 2CT round diamond ($20,000), yellow gold simple chain necklace ($8,000), yellow gold bracelet; heavy setting ($4,000), yellow gold ring with oval tapaz in setting ($2,000), xanax pills ($30). The two believe the items could have been taken by a cleaning service that comes to their condo once a week. The two residents have homeowner's insurance and plan to file a claim, according to police. October 3 – DUI Katie Moule, 31, of Philadelphia, was arrested for DUI when police found controlled substances, burnt marijuana roaches and a multi-colored pipe…
