Purses Stolen at Philmont Country Club Bat Mitzvah

The following was reported by the Lower Moreland Police Department.

While attending a Bat Mitzvah at the Philmont Country Club on Nov. 12, two daughters had their purses taken from the Founders Room between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. Their father reported that his older daughter had a black women’s purse valued at $100. In that purse was a new Apple iPod Touch 4. His younger daughter had a silver women’s purse valued at $100, which also had an Apple iPod Touch 4 in it. The devices were valued at $300 each. Additionally, his younger daughter’s purse had a pair of her mother’s diamond stud earrings valued at $400. According to the report, the father was not going to report the incident because he believed the items were stolen and nothing could be done about it. Lost: iPad and Portfolio

Reward offered for finding the iPad in a portfolio and a pen

  An Abington resident lost his Apple iPad and an old MontBlanc pen yesterday at about noon on Easton Road.  The iPad was in a Penn State portfolio with a black rubber rain protector.  If anyone has come across the iPad, please call Billie at 267-210-2524.
