LM Grad Featured on 'Today' Show for Startup Business
A Lower Moreland alum was featured on NBC for her business venture Hukkster.com
Erica Bell (Greenberg), who graduated from Lower Moreland High School in 2002, was featured on NBC's Today Show last week for her new "dot-com" company. Bell and her partner Katie Finnegan came up with the idea for Hukkster.com, a shopping platform that tracks products online and lets customers know when those products they want go on sale. The Winklevoss Twins (most notably from Facebook and the movie The Social Network) recently invested $750,000 in the company. The web site describes the Hukkster process as: Track products on sites you love. Get notified when those products go on sale. Buy when the time is right.
