Police Log: Dog Bites, DUI and Theft
The following was reported by the Lower Moreland Police Department.
July 28 – Dog Law & Bites A resident called LMPD to report that two dogs - a large, grey and black Great Dane, and a brown and white Bassett Hound - were loose on his property with no collars or leashes on. The resident claimed that while the Great Dane was running around his backyard, it attacked his cat. The dog’s owner, Marc Pressman, 55, of Huntingdon Valley, stated that he had just finished washing his dogs but didn’t realize they got loose. Pressman told police that he believed his dogs ran to the neighboring property because the homeowner has given food to both of his dogs in the past. There are prior incidents for Pressman and his dogs and a citation will be filed against him for the infraction. July 26 – DUI; Hit-and-Run Glenn …

Saw the dog incident and that was NOT the way it really happened! The dog had gotten under the fence & the owner immediately ran out 2 try and restrain her dog. Susan Kaplan's daughter was walking her 2 tiny dogs & didn't pick up either dog. The Yorkshire terrier got away from the young girl and off the leash and started running down the street...
