Lower Moreland Names New Teacher to Replace PA State Rep. Joe Emrick
Jason Arehart was recommended by the Lower Moreland School Board as the newest English and Social Studies teacher at Murray Avenue.
Joe Emrick was a staple in Lower Moreland. He served as an Economics and Social Studies for nearly 15 years in the district. But he chose to pursue his political career and was recently re-elected as the State Rep. for the 137th Legislative District. Because of his government responsibilities, he formally submitted his resignation to the school and there was a vacant position for the full-time teacher at Murray Avenue Middle School for the classes he taught.
