Summer Programs and Camps for Youth in Lower Moreland

Both the township and school district provide options for summer activities.

The Lower Moreland School District and Lower Moreland Township have summer programs, designed to keep youth moving and active.

The Lower Moreland School District offers its "Lion's Sports Camp", which will take place at 555 Red Lion Road in Huntingdon Valley. Participants can participate in several specialty sports, including: Soccer, basketball, tennis, wrestlilng, softball, badminton, team handball, floor hockey and baseball. The Lower Moreland Township's "Summer Recreation Program" is for youth residents who will complete grades 1-6 in the 2012/2013 school year. Various activites are scheduled for each week, such as scavanger hunts, laser tag, skating, carnival, camper all-star games. The program runs from June 24 - Aug. 2 at the Murray Ave. School, located at 2551 Murray Ave. in Huntingdon Valley. — See the .pdf registration application in the media gallery for details.
