What Do You Think About the Eagles Releasing DeSean Jackson?

Rumors of the release had been swirling, but the official release came Friday morning.

The Philadelphia Eagles on Friday announced their decision to release wide receiver DeSean Jackson.

Rumors of the release had been swirling in recent days, and grew Friday following a Star-Ledger story alleging that Jackson had gang connections

Jackson has denied those allegations, but Philadelphia Inquirer Eagles beat writer Jeff McLane said they were the final straw for the Eagles.

What do you think about Jackson's release? Let us know in the comments below.

For GEORGE SWALES -please pour out the KoolAid. The Left can never talk about anything, even sports without a political agenda. The Democrat Congress of 2007 tanked the economy. Bush and the GOP did fine for the first six years. You obviously have no discernment in terms of economics, debt, and the deep Democrat role in screwing up Fannie and Freddie. The doznes of arrests of ALL Dems show how deep the corruption is. Reid should be impeached with his MASSIVE corruption. OBama the same thing - follow the money! It is all out there if you care enough to look - ask foreign leaders if you do not believe me - Obama is incompetent, a liar, and no one to be relied on! HE tanked Iraq, gained NOTHING in Afghanistan, will give that away to as well as the Ukraine and America. Still have the KoolAid in your glass???

How did a story about football turn into a political discussion?
George Swales March 31, 2014 at 02:05 PM
Here's Johnny: Now...just where are those WMD's/ Not to mention the billions Bushbutt handed over to pvt. companies so the military footprint in Iraq could be diminished? BTW, companies like Blackwater took OUR tax dollars and hired Third World laborers at ten cents on the dollar for their Iraqi ops. Corp. America made billions while middle/working class kids did the dying.

Hey John and Simon, You are right on, Mr. Swales is not interested in football, just his personal agenda . I think the Eagles will do just fine this year. I was really impressed with Riley Cooper's play last year as well as the rest of the team.
