B. Request approval of purchase of Study Island program (Pennsylvania College and Career Readiness Bundle Benchmarking) at Lower Moreland High School ata cost of $7,597.50.
C. Request approval of purchase of Study Island programs (Pennsylvania Keystone Algebra I and Keystone Algebra I Benchmark Tests) at a cost of $990.90.
D. Request approval to attend Professional Meetings as attached.
E. Request approval to accept 2011/12 Supplemental Education Jobs Funding in the amount of $2,098.
V. Buildings and Grounds
A. Request approval of Valley Christian School to use the Murray Avenue School Track for a run/walk around the track to raise money for the school, on October 26, 2012 from 9:45am-10:45am and 1:00pm – 2:30pm (rain date 11/2/12). No fee.
B. Request approval of CMS – Studios to use the High School Auditorium for a children’s musical “Christmas Carol” on December 15, 2012 from 2:00pm until 6:30pm.
C. Request approval of Murray Avenue School to use the High School Auditorium for a Parent Bullying Presentation by Deb McCoy on October 11, 2012 from 6:00pm until 9:30pm. No fee.
D. Request approval of Pine Road Elementary to use the High School Auditorium for the Pine Road Winter Concert on December 19, 2012 from 5:30pm until 9:30pm. No fee.
E. Request approval of The Lower Moreland Township Rec Board to use the Lower Moreland High School Front Hill for Movie Night on October 6, 2012 from 5:00pm until 11:00pm. No fee.
F. Request approval of Friends of Huntingdon Valley Library to use the Pine Road School, Front Lobby for a Bake Sale to raise money for the Huntingdon Valley Library on November 6, 2012 from 7:00am until 6:00pm. No fee.
G. Request approval of Lower Moreland Swimming & Diving to use the High School Auditorium for a Parent Meeting on September 25, 2012 from 7:00pm until 9:00pm. Fee included.
VI. Business and Finance
A. Request approval of the checklist dated 8/30/12 in the amount of $1,051,345.42.
B. Request approval to replace two copiers in High School Guidance and Murray Avenue Principal’s Offices as per attached proposal.
C. Request approval of the 2011/2012 Budget Transfers as per attached.
D. Request approval to transfer $850,000 from leftover General Funds (11/12) to Capital Projects Fund.
E. Request approval of the professional services with Breslin Ridyard Fadero Architects in the amount of $9,375 to design an accessible ADA route from the parking area behind the Murray Avenue Middle School to the Junior Varsity Baseball field. This access route will also serve the football stadium. As attached.
F. Request approval of the professional services with a Civil Engineering firm to provide a land survey for the work in above item A and the work to improve the Athletic fields at the High School and Murray Avenue School. A list of the three Civil Engineering firms and their fees, will be provided prior to, or at the meeting. As attached.
VII. School Board
A. Request approval of an agreement between Lower Moreland Township School District and Quinn Developmental Services to provide consultative behavioral supports for 18 hours per week for 4 weeks at a cost of $5,400 and for 9 hours per week for 32 weeks at a cost of $21,600 for a total of $27,000 for the 2012-2013 school year. As attached.
B. Request approval of Transportation Agreement between Lower Moreland Township School District and Abington School District as per attached.
C. Request approval of the second read for the Admission of Non-Resident Students Policy #202, as attached.
A. Friends of the Huntingdon Valley Library would like to use the High School parking lot on Saturday, November 3, 2012 for bus pick up for a day trip to Washington, D.C.
