PHOTOS: Pine Road Holds Race for Education

The school raised nearly $40,000 for new playground equipment.

Pine Road Elementary School hosted its first Race for Education on Friday, May 18.

All of the students participated by wallking, running and dancing for an hour outside at school. Each elementary school student wrote letters to family and friends asking them for sponsorship.

All of the proceeds will be used for new playground equipment.
