PHOTOS: New Athletic Fields in Lower Moreland

LM recently approved its multi-sport athletic fields to be used by the schools, township events, HVAA and the public.

Lower Moreland Township recently approved its shared facilities agreements after months of board meeting deliberations.

Over the years there have been many issues with the condition of the fields at the High School, Murray Avenue and various parks throughout the township. Flooding was a main concern and often times the fields were not able to avoid puddling and the cancelation of sporting events. With the new sythentic fields that are being installed at the High School, the township hopes to put an end to those woes.

Once completed, the fields will be open to the public and will serve a multi-sport purpose for Lower Moreland events.
