Lower Moreland Student of the Month: Lindsey Yam
Yam, a senior at LMHS, was recognized at the School Board meeting Tuesday night.
The Lower Moreland School Board presented its Student of the Month awards at its meeting Tuesday night.
Senior Lindsey Yam earned the female honor and was rewarded for her hard work and dedication inside and outside of school.
"Lindsey is one of our 12th grade students," Superintendent Dr. Marykay Feeley said. "She is receiving this award for a couple of reasons. She is very mature, dedicated and quite enthusiastic as a student. Lindsay comes to school with a smile on her face and willingness to participate. She cares for her siblings at home and her grandmother who is ill.
"Despite the hours that she's actually spending taking care of them," Feeley added, she earns good grades. And always has her work completed. She should be commended for how she spends her time at home and at school. We're proud of you."
