Local Residents Honored at James Madison University

Two Huntingdon Valley residents have been named to the President's List for the 2012 Fall semester.

he following James Madison University students have been named to the President's List for the fall 2012 semester:

Jillian Wasson of Huntingdon Valley. Wasson is a senior whose major is communication sciences and disorders.

Mara Metroka of Huntingdon Valley. Metroka is a junior whose major is hospitality management.

Students who receive president's list honors must carry a semester course load of at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a GPA of 3.9 or above.

James Madison University is a comprehensive university that is part of the statewide system of public higher education in the Commonwealth of Virginia and is the only university in America named for President James Madison. Established March 14, 1908, the university offers programs on the bachelor's, master's and doctoral levels with its primary emphasis on the undergraduate student.
