110-Room Montco Mansion Enters Market at $20M

The asking price of the Cheltenham Township mansion is $20 million, with an estimated monthly mortgage of more than $76,600.

Want a 110-bedroom mansion? Then you’ll have to shell out more than $76,660 a month.

That’s how much the estimated monthly mortgage is for Montgomery County’s Lynnewood Hall, which was listed for sale this week. The asking price is $20 million.

The 70,000 square foot mansion sits on nearly 34 acres in Cheltenham Township. It is described as a “true neoclassical revival masterpiece.”

The hefty mortgage isn’t the only steep bill associated with the property. Annual property taxes in 2013 were more than $135,000.

Frank Johnson of Berkshire Hathaway Fox & Roach is the listing agent.

According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, the property’s owner has been battling for years to have the property rezoned as a tax-exempt church but his efforts to date have been unsuccessful.
