A potential new ordinance in the township could required residents with runner bamboo to maintain it, according to a report in the Glenside News Globe Times Chronicle.
The president of the board called the style of bamboo a "different kind of weed," according to the report. The township has received "a number of complaints" about bamboo in the past couple of years.
