F. Recommend approval of an extension of an FMLA for Maureen Cebular to continue through November 2, 2012.

G. Recommend approval of an FMLA for Kristin Maynard, Pine Road School, Instructional Assistant, effective January 2, 2013 through February 27, 2013.

V. Curriculum

A. Recommend approval of the following Lead Teachers for the 2012-2013 school year.
This contract is provided under the terms of the 2008-2012 LMTEA Contract. All lead teacher positions will be posted upon Board approval of a new LMTEA contract. B. Recommend approval to attend Professional Meetings as attached.

VI. Buildings and Grounds

A. Recommend approval of Art, Music and Culture Class to use the High School Band Room, Lobby and Room 107 to put on a final show for friends and family, January 17, 2013 from 6:00pm until 10:00pm. No fee.

B. Recommend approval of LMSD Instrumental Music Program to use the High School Auditorium for Lower Moreland School District All Band Night, March 11 through March 15, 2013 as attached. No fee.

C. Recommend approval of Pine Road PTA to use the Pine Road Lobby, Back Lobby and Multi-Purpose Room for a PTA Record Hop to benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand and the Valley Youth Center on October 19, 2012 from 6:00pm-11:00pm. No fee.

D. Recommend approval of LMHS Guidance to use the High School Auditorium for a “Financial Aid Workshop for Students and Parents” on November 12, 2012 from 6:00pm-9:00pm. No fee.

E. Recommend approval of Murray Avenue School to use the High School Auditorium for an Antibullying/Cyberbulling Parent Presentation with Deb McCoy on October 25, 2012 from 6:30pm-9:30pm. No fee.

F. Recommend approval of Lower Moreland High School Staff to use the High School Auditorium for “College Planning Night for Juniors and Parents” on January 10, 2013 from 6:00pm-9:00pm. No fee.

G. Recommend approval of Executive PTA to use the High School Gym, Auditorium, Kitchen and Snack Shop for a Craft & Gift Fair on November 10, 2012 from 7:00am – 5:00pm with PM set up on November 9, 2012. No fee.

B. Recommend approval of the checklist dated 9/27/12 in the amount of $308,475.39 and checklist dated 10/11/12 in the amount of $561,645.94

C. Recommend approval of the professional services with Breslin Ridyard Fader Architects in the amount of 5.75% of the construction cost associated with the bus loop and parking lot work. The design fee is currently estimated to be $124,200. The actual fee will be determined after the bids are opened and the lowest responsible bidder is determined. Payment of the fee is contingent upon the Solicitors review of the AIA master agreement.

D. Recommend approval of the professional services with Breslin Ridyard Fader Architects on an hourly basis for the cost of adding six modular classrooms (including plumbing, mechanical and electrical work) and expanding the cafeteria seating area. A “not to exceed” amount will be determined and cannot be exceeded without additional school board approval. Payment of the fee is contingent upon the Solicitors review of the AIA master agreement.

E. Recommend approval of the professional services with Breslin Ridyard Fader Architects in the amount of $19,550 associated with the demolition and construction of a pedestrian bridge at the Murray Avenue School. Payment of the fee is contingent upon the Solicitors review of the AIA master agreement.

1. Recommend approval of an agreement between Lower Moreland School District and Bucks County Intermediate Unit for placement of student #5267 in a Life Skills Support classroom at Maple Point Middle School, at a cost of $37,284.00. As attached.

2. Recommend approval of two (2) Transportation Agreements between Lower Moreland Township School District and Upper Moreland School District as per attached.

3. Recommend approval of the following parcel assessment stipulations, per the attached:

4. Recommend approval of the concept of a joint venture with Lower Moreland Township concerning the construction of a synthetic surface multipurpose field located at the southeast corner of the high school property adjacent to the area known as Fairway Farms (owned by the Township) with the understanding that this motion mandates no formal action approving the project or expending any funds until and unless there is a written agreement between the Township and the District which is acceptable to the District.
