Police responded to a domestic dispute on Sept. 24 on the 700 block of Lisa Circle between a man and his live-in girlfriend.
The man told police he had been dating Judy Landers, 52, of Willow Grove, for two months and she had been living with him at his residence during that time. The two were arguing for the past three hours because he was breaking up with her. He stated that while they were arguing, she scratched him and struck him in the head with her head. He had visible scratch marks on his right wrist and chest, and he had an abrasion on his right elbow.
Landers reported that she tried to kiss him, but he pushed her away. She did not give any other details of the events and denied scratching him. She was visibly intoxicated and had purple colored lips and claimed she only drank two glasses of wine on an empty stomach. Police let her gather her things before transporting her back to her Willow Grove residence. While in the bedroom, police observed an empty wine bottle on the night table (as well as an empty bottle in the kitchen). There were also numerous items thrown all over the kitchen floor, according to the report.
Upon arriving at her home, police were met by Upper Moreland Police Officer Gruver, who was familiar with Landers through several previous interactions.
Landers will be charged with harassment for scratching and striking her now ex-boyfriend. She was also be cited for Disorderly Conduct.
