Toy Gun Used in Gas Station Robbery Attempt

The cashier pressed the mergence alarm before the robber could take any money.

A man used a toy gun when he attempted to rob a Lower Moreland Sunoco station on Nov. 4, Montgomery Media News is reporting.

The man, described as a white male about 6 feet tall, showed the toy gun to the cashier at the Sunoco station on Philmont Avenue and demanded cash, Montgomery Media News said.

The cashier pressed the store's emergency button, MMN reported, and the would-be robber fled on foot.
