Nov. 1 – Fraud
- The Men’s and Boys Store
The owner of the Mens and Boys Store called LMPD after two subjects attempted to pay for merchandise with counterfeit money. The subjects handed the owner what she thought was 2 $100 bills and one $50 bill. The two men left the store in an older, beat-up, silver or gray Chrysler minivan.
After the owner recognized that the money was fake, she confronted the two subjects as they were driving away. The subjects then turned the merchandise back over to the owner.
