Police Investigating Death of 19-Year-Old in Lower Moreland

Last week LM Police were dispatched to an unresponsive man who was in his car.

The Lower Moreland Police Department recently released the following information:

On January 25, at 3:29 p.m., police responded to a report of a 19-year-old man unresponsive in a vehicle, which was located in the garage of a single-family dwelling in Lower Moreland Township.

While responding, police were updated by dispatch of a strong odor of gas or chemicals present on location near the vehicle and subject. The complainant was evacuated and other residences were advised to shelter in a place. Personnel from the Huntingdon Valley Fire Company, Bryn Athyn Ambulance, and Montgomery County Hazmat team responded and secured the scene. The male was determined to be deceased.

The body and vehicle were removed from the scene and secured. The incident is being investigated by the Lower Moreland Township Police Department and the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office.
