Police Log: Dog Bites, DUI and Theft

The following was reported by the Lower Moreland Police Department.

July 28 – Dog Law & Bites

  • 3500 block of Glenn Way

A resident called LMPD to report that two dogs - a large, grey and black Great Dane, and a brown and white Bassett Hound - were loose on his property with no collars or leashes on. The resident claimed that while the Great Dane was running around his backyard, it attacked his cat.

The dog’s owner, Marc Pressman, 55, of Huntingdon Valley, stated that he had just finished washing his dogs but didn’t realize they got loose. Pressman told police that he believed his dogs ran to the neighboring property because the homeowner has given food to both of his dogs in the past.
