Multiple Reports of Theft in Lower Moreland

The following information was supplied by the Lower Moreland Police Department.

Dec. 12 – Theft

  • 3100 block of Philmont Ave.

A Huntingdon Valley resident called LMPD to report someone had entered his car that was backed into his driveway facing Philmont Ave. He reported to police that his GPS ($160) was taken out of the center console and approximately $20 in change was also removed from his 2006 Jeep Wrangler.

  • 3900 block of Pine Road

A man who was visiting his friend on the 3900 block of Pine Road called LMPD after discovering his car was entered while parked outside the house. There was no damage to his 2004 Mitsubishi Eclipse, however, there was about $40 in loose change that was taken from the cup holder. Items were also removed from his wallet, which included $100, a Mobil/Exxon gas card, (2) Visa credit cards and his Vermont Drivers’ license.
