VIDEO: Motorists Need to be Rescued in Huntingdon Valley

Rescue crews were out on Philmont Ave. yesterday as some drivers got stuck in flooding waters.

The Huntingdon Valley Fire Company said it helped rescue seven residents who were stuck in the flooded roadway near Philmont Avenue and Red Lion Road. The trapped motorists were able to escape the flooding waters in a small rescue boat. The Fire Company also helped five people get out of their cars to safer, higher ground.
