Abington Police last week arrested a Philadelphia man after he allegedly crashed into another vehicle on Huntingdon Pike and fled.

According to police, Alexandro Charles, 21, of Tustin Street, was driving southbound on Huntingdon Pike on July 11 at about 2:15 p.m. when he rear-ended another vehicle that was attempting to turn left into the Giant Foods parking lot. Charles immediately fled the scene but the driver of the other vehicle was able to write down the striking vehicle’s tag number, police said.
