In the Rockledge bank robbery on Wednesday, police said a masked man walked into the Wells Fargo bank at about 10:20 a.m. and announced a robbery. The man demanded that both bank employees, as well as the customers, put their hands up. He then walked up to the teller line and demanded cash while pointing a gun at the tellers.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the man fled on foot to the rear of the building, and climbed over a fence between the bank and Breen’s Tavern — the man was last seen heading west through the yards.

The man is described as black with a thin build between 5-foot-2 and 5-foot-6. He was last seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, a dark colored mask covering his face with only his eyes and forehead exposed, off-white colored gloves, dark blue or black pants with a yellow stripe and sneakers.
