Another Case of Counterfeit Money in Lower Moreland

The following was reported by the Lower Moreland Police Department.

An employee of Ferrari Sunoco, 2295 Huntingdon Pike, called LMPD to report that someone tried to pass him a counterfeit $100 bill. The actors left the scene by the time the police showed up, but the employee said they left in a light blue or silver sedan.

A Hispanic male operated the sedan and a black male was in the passenger seat, both in their early 20’s. The Hispanic man came inside and asked for $10 worth of gas. The employee accepted the $100 bill and went in his office to get change. While in his office he noticed there wasn’t a security stripe on the bill.

Report of attempted use of counterfeit bills at the Mens and Boys Store.

He told the Hispanic male he could not accept the bill because he thought it was fake. This man accepted the bill back and walked out of the store. A check of the registration provided by the employee revealed the owner is Shonda N. McCallum of Levittown. The car is believed to be a 2002 Mazda Protégé.
