Former Montco Bar Association President Dies
Thomas Waters Jr. was also a solicitor for Abington and served and a Montco DA.

Thomas Englar Waters Jr., of Lower Gwynedd, formerly of Fort Washington, died Wednesday, July 31. He was 81.
Born in Abington, he was the son of the late Thomas Englar Waters Sr. and Elizabeth Turner Waters.

Waters attended Lafayette College and earned his JD from the University of Pennsylvania. He started his career with Waters, Fleer and Cooper and also served in the U.S. Navy.

In addition to his wife Ande, he is survived by his children, James, Douglas, Anne and Steven; and several grandchildren.
Services were private.
Memorial contributions may be sent to Act II Playhouse; or to the Mattie Dixon Community Cupboard, both in Ambler.
Arrangements are by Helweg and Rowland Funeral Home in Abington.
