Lights of Love - An Opportunity to Help Others

Lights of Love at Abington Health offers a special opportunity to help those most in need of assistance. Each donation made to this garden of trees will go towards helping patients with special needs access such basic necessities as the cost of home care for terminally ill individuals, the cost of medication for those with no prescription coverage, or the cost of an assistive device such as wheelchair. The decorations on the trees represent the gifts that have been given in honor/memory of a loved one or to mark a special occasion. A golden snowflake can be donated for $20; a golden heart for $40. Unless otherwise requested, each donor's name will be placed in a book which will be displayed with the trees beginning in November and continuing through the holiday season at Willow Grove Park Mall at our new location near the Nordstrom Rack entrance. From December 3 through the beginning of the New Year, the Lights of Love displays will be featured in the Shorday Atrium at Abington Memorial Hospital as well as other Abington Health campuses. Donations can be sent to AHF Women's Board, Lights of Love, 1200 Old York Road, Abington, PA 19001 (checks made payable to AHF Women's Board). Please consider lending a hand to others as you embark on this season of giving.
