Huntingdon Valley Fire Company Fire Prevention Open House

It's time for Fire Prevention Week (October 6-12) and Huntingdon Valley (Volunteer) Fire Company wants you to "Prevent Kitchen Fires." During this year's fire safety campaign, firefighters will be spreading the word about the dangers of kitchen fires--most of which result from unattended cooking--and teaching residents how to prevent kitchen fires from starting in the first place.

On Saturday October 12th (11:00 AM-4:00 PM), join our firefighters for the Fire Company's annual Fire Prevention Open House held at 636 Red Lion Road in Huntingdon Valley. Activities will include safety demonstrations and interactive activities for the kids, 911 education, search and rescue dogs as well as a visit with our mascot, Sparky the Fire Dog. Come on out and get cookin' with fire safety!
