Elizabeth Pitciarn performing on "Red Violin" at Glencairn in concert dedicated to cousin




World renowned virtuoso Elizabeth Pitcairn, performing on 1720 “red violin” in concert
dedicated to her late cousin, prominent music patron Lachlan Pitcairn.
Accompanied by renowned pianist Barbara
Podgurski, program will include Fritz Kreisller’s Preludium and Allegro;
Mozart’s Sonata No. 32 in B-flat Major K. 454, Largo – Allegro, Andante, Allegretto;
Beethoven’s Sonata No. 7 in C minor Op. 30 no. 2; Danielpour’s “River of
Light;” and Massenet’s Meditation from “Thais.” Glencairn is the former home of Lachlan's Pitcairn's family. Cost: $20; $15, museum members
