Morning Snow Showers Could Hit Huntingdon Valley Thursday

It may only be a couple of inches, but precipitation is expected over the weekend

The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather alert for Montgomery and Bucks counties that will result in rain and possible snow.

According to the latest forecast, there is a 50-percent chance of snow for Friday morning. It has already started to rain here in Huntingdon Valley,

Throughout the day there is expected to be light snow accumulating from half an inch to two inches.

Thursday will see a 70-percent chance of precipitation with snowfall expected to only accumulate to about half an inch.

Snow is expected to curtail by Friday with only a 45-percent chance of precipitation.

According to the Hazardous Weather Outlook, winds will gust up to 40 mph by the afternoon and into the evening.
