Storm Could Bring Up to 6 Inches of Snow to Huntingdon Valley

The latest forecast for Huntingdon Valley greatly increased the amount of snow predicted in this weekend's winter storm.

A winter storm could bring anywhere from 3 to 6 inches of snow to the Huntingdon Valley area Friday and Saturday.

The lastest forecast from the National Weather Service predicts 1 to 3 inches of snow Friday, then another 5 to 9 inches overnight Friday into Saturday.

That is a radical change from Thursday's forecast, which predicted far less snow for Montgomery and Bucks counties. Most of Friday will be damp with rain, but expect that to change to snow by early evening.

The National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning for southeast Pennsylvania, including the Huntingdon Valley area. The warning is in effect from 3 p.m. Friday until 6 a.m. Saturday.

So, what's it going to be? Who knows.

But we will continue to monitor the latest weather reports and update this story as needed.

(Head out to the store for eggs and bread and milk now. :)

Good thing it is on a weekend. The school district doesn't like calling off school until 600 am and after all the other schools close.
