Final Plan for Wawa on Philmont Ave. to be Discussed at Meeting

The Planning Commission will meet in the Municipal Building Wednesday, Aug. 31, at 7:30 p.m. to go over a finalized plan for the new convenient store.

A final plan for the Wawa on Philmont Avenue will be put in place at Wednesday night’s Lower Moreland Township Planning Commission meeting. It will begin at 7:30 p.m. and will be open to the public at the Municipal Building.

The Board of Commissioners approved the construction of a new Wawa as part of the Philmont Cooridor Revitalization Plan months ago, and now the finishing touches and details will be hammered out at the meeting.

The Planning Commission will also go over the Billboard Ordinance, which it agreed on back in June. It approved dimensions of new billboards to be 40 feet in height, no more than 300 square feet and 20 feet across.
