Fetters Mill Bridge Closed; Inverness Bridge Funds Approved

One bridge is closed while another is being replaced in LM.

Lower Moreland Township has released the following update:

- Montgomery County engineers have closed the Fetters Mill Bridge indefinitely due to structural concerns. For more information, please direct inquiries to Montgomery County at 610-278-3020.

- Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority will be beginning an extensive water main replacement project on October 21, 2012 along County Line Road. As a result, County Line Road will be closed between Pine Road and Huntingdon Pike from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The posted detour will move vehicles off of County Line Road to Pine Road to Byberry Road to Huntingdon Pike.

- The Township has received notice that Federal and State grant funds have been approved for the replacement of the Inverness Lane Bridge. The grant was made available through FEMA’s Public Assistance program in the aftermath of Tropical Storm Lee. We are beginning the initial planning process in order to utilize these funds as soon as possible.
