Cards, Craps, Food and Fun This Weekend in Lower Moreland

Looking for something to do this weekend? There are a number of local events around town.

The Foundation for Lower Moreland Schools will host the 4th Annual "Monte Carlo Night" on Saturday, March 9 at the Huntingdon Valley Country Club.

There will be a cash bar and you must be 21-year-old to attend. Tickets cost $50; $60 at the door. Your entry will gain you $50 in casino chips, food and non-alcoholic beverages. There is also a DJ and complimentary valet parking.

The event runs from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.

If cards aren't your thing, there are still a number of activities to partake in around Huntingdon Valley over the weekend.

- Bethayres Tavern will host Karaoke Night on Friday, March 8. Put your vocals on display starting at 9 p.m.

SATURDAY

- Visit the Bryn Athyn Bounty Farm from 9 a.m. to noon to pick up some local produce. There are also educational programs offered.

- The Huntingdon Valley Library will host its Used Book Sale starting at 10 a.m.

SUNDAY

- As always, the Bryn Athyn Cathedral offers its Guided Tours all weekend long.
