Massage and Facial Spa Replacing Boardwalk Fresh Burgers and Fries

Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa is moving to the Marketplace Shopping Center at Huntingdon Valley.

If you were waiting for the chance to try the new Boardwalk Fresh Burgers and Fries restaurant in the Marketplace Shopping Center at Huntingdon Valley, you may have waited too long.

The local shop opened in Octobert of 2011, but just a little over a year later, the burger joint next to Rita's Water Ice was forced to close its doors. The company ran a promotion for its Opening Day by rewarding the first 40 customers with free hamburgers for a year. Store owners may have bitten off more than they could chew with that promotion since the store closed not too long after it opened.

Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa will replace the local eatery and construction crews have already gutted out the old establishment and have begun with construction of their own.

The store will offer massages, facials and waxings, and is open seven days a week. Walk-ins are welcome as well as memberships.

There is no set date for the store to open, but construction is expected to be completed in the next six months. The closest Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa locations are currently in Delran, NJ, Marlton, NJ and Cherry Hill, NJ.

Juice Zone and Going Postal were previous tennents at this location.

Rob "Tennents" should be spelled as "tenants."
