Huntingdon Valley Library to Host Annual Golf Outing

Proceeds from the annual golf outing benefit the Huntingdon Valley Library, and will take place at the North Course of The Phlmont Country Club.

The Huntingdon Valley Library will host its annual golf outing, June 4 at the  North Course of the Philmont Country Club, located at 301 Tomlinson Road in Huntingdon Valley.

The shotgun start golf outing lets golfers experience the tree-lined fairways and fast greens of this fabulous tournament course while supporting the library. The event is sponsored by Huntingdon Valley Bank, which has provided a $3,000 sponsorship for this significant library fundraising effort.

The entry fee of $250 (individual) or $900 (foursome) includes a complete package of luncheon, golf, cocktails and dinner. In addition, every registered golfer has the chance to win a new car as the hole-in-one prize, courtesy of Ben Catanese of Volkswagen of Salem County.

Registration closes on May 20.

Individuals interested in cocktails and dinner only can support the event for just $75 per person. If you are not a golfer, you can support the library while enjoying a day at Philmont with lunch and Mah Jongg and Canasta for only $40.

Other Sponsorship Tiers are available, including a $1500 corporate sponsorship and $200 hole sponsorships. Registration forms are available at the Huntingdon Valley Library, at the Huntingdon Valley Bank on Red Lion Road, and at area businesses.

The Huntingdon Valley Library moved into its current facility at 625 Red Lion Road in 1997. Proceeds from this fundraiser will be used to renovate and refresh the library’s interior, upgrade the library's technology, and enhance programs and services to all ages.
