Huntingdon Valley Library Sidewalks are Complete (Photos)

A new cement sidewalk runs from the top of the Huntingdon Valley Library and wraps around the first-floor entrance.

Back in August the Lower Moreland Board of Commissioners announced that a new sidewalk will be installed along Red Lion Road in front of the Huntingdon Valley Library.

After months of working on the project, it is now complete and residents can fully utilize the new sidewalks.

“Right now there is no sidewalk for kids to walk from Murray Avenue to the library. Personally I like keeping the tree and the look,” township president Robert Demartinis said at the August meeting.

Funds for the project came from the Capital Improvement Fund and did not exceed $30,000, according to the township.
