County Line Road to be Closed at Nights Through Jan. 2013

PennDOT announced County Line Road will be closed nightly between Huntingdon Pike and Pine Road from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.

 

The Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority will close County Line Road between Route 232 (Huntingdon Pike/Second Street Pike) and Pine Road in Upper Southampton and Lower Southampton townships, Bucks County and Lower Moreland Township, Montgomery County beginning Sunday (Oct. 21) for water main installation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced. County Line Road will be closed Sunday through Thursday nights from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Jan. 31.

During construction, County Line Road through traffic will be detoured over Pine Road, Byberry Road, and Route 232 (Huntingdon Pike/Second Street Pike). Motorists traveling on County Line Road are advised to allow extra time when traveling through area as backups may occur.

The Bucks County Water and Sewer Authority will complete the work under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
