Addic Treasures to Host Fundraiser for Suicide Prevention

The accessory shop on Huntingdon Pike will host a fundraiser in honor of a former Lower Moreland graduate who tragically took his life.

Addic Treasurers in Huntingdon Valley will be hosting a fundraiser to help bring awareness to suicide.

Residents are invited to the all-in-one accessory shop on Huntingdon Pike on Saturday, April 6. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, "Anthony's Angels," in honor of former Lower Moreland graduate Anthony Siciliano, who tragically took his own life. Siciliano was also a member of the Huntingdon Valley Fire Company.

The event will start at 10 a.m. and close at 6 p.m.

“This fundraising event will help support the many educational and survivor programs in the area,” Catherine M. Siciliano, Board Chair of The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention said. “Suicide is the third leading cause of death among teens and young adults.”

Let Addic Treasures know if you can attend by visiting the event page on Facebook. This is the first fundraiser the store is hosting.
