This week is National Library Week, and to celebrate, Miss Glynnis has created a scavenger hunt in the children’s department. The scavenger hunt is designed to be drop-in at any time we are open. I have an easy hunt for Toddlers and Preschoolers and a more detailed hunt for children in grade school. I have attached the hunts for you to see what they are about. I am going to have a station set up for parents/and or children to pick up the scavenger hunt in the children’s department. Please encourage families with children to try out the hunt. The last question on both scavenger hunts is: Can you find the circulation desk? Go here to collect your prize. I will leave the prizes underneath the circulation desk in between the two computers at the front. Toddlers/Preschoolers will get a sticker. Grade school children will get a pencil. In exchange for their prize, please take their scavenger hunt paper so I can keep track of statistics. I will leave a black container beside the prizes to collect the filled out forms in. Miss Glynnis welcomes all children to join in on the fun of this scavenger hunt at the Huntingdon Valley Library.
