School and Township Discussing Possible Partnership

There will be a special meeting held tonight at 7 p.m. in the Pine Road Board Room.

Commissioner Robert Demartinis will be on hand at tonight's "special" School Board Meeting to discuss a possible partnership between the township and the Lower Moreland School District.

When reached for a comment, the School Administration Office would not eleborate further on what a partnership would mean. But Demartinis is expected to speak at a presentation at the beginning of the meeting tonight at 7 p.m. More details will be available after tonight's meeting.

An overview of "Capital Projects" will also be discussed tonight.

Its a disgrace what is happening to our schools. We have teachers without contracts, threats to replace the custodial staff, staff positions with no cost of living this year but we have money for new fields, tennis courts and adm. positions.
