Regional Roundup: Hatboro Parade May Scale Back, Centennial Board's Busy Agenda

All of Bensalem's schools made their mark in the Adequate Yearly Progress scores.

Hatboro Parade Needs Help to Stay Afloat: The much-loved holiday parade will go on as scheduled, but it may be scaled back if more financial support doesn’t materialize.

Bensalem Schools Progress on PSSAs: With two successful appeals of school's Adequate Yearly Progress scores this year, all nine district schools made AYP, Superintendent David Baugh announced. “This is the result of an incredible team effort,” he said.

Centennial Board Agenda Full of Noteworthy Items: At tonight’s meeting, the board will consider more than $230,000 in change orders for the high school renovation project and also consider action that could change multiple bus stops in the district.

Oxford Valley Mall Paints Itself Pink: The Oxford Valley Mall is partnering with The Bott Cancer Center at Holy Redeemer Hospital for the Second Annual Big sMall Two-Mile Walk for Breast Cancer -- part of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month or "Pink October."

CR North to Host Band Invitational: The event will be feature five high school bands from throughout the region competing for awards. Participating bands include Council Rock South, Neshaminy High School, Montgomery High School, William Tennent High School and Pennridge High School.
