The Lower Moreland School Board presented its Student of the Month awards at its meeting Tuesday night.

Junior Jack Titus earned the male honor and was rewarded for his strong work ethic and enthusiasm he brings to his classmates.

"Jack was a credit to his classroom, his school and his family," Superintendent Dr. Marykay Feeley said. "His character and values shine through in every interaction in which he's involved. He's helpful without being asked, he's kind and caring to his classmates. He's eager to learn and brings enthusiasm to the class. He's respected by his peers and faculty alike."

What a kid! His work ethic and upbeat personality are inspirational to all those around him. He is a natural leader who is always concerned more about others. It has been a privilege for me to coach him and watch him play. Great example of what it means to be a student-athlete.
